Counting couples

New York and other states in the Northeast have some of highest portions of same-sex marriage as percent of all married couples, according to new numbers from the US Treasury Department based on tax data that's said to be most accurate numbers on same-sex marriage around the country. The NYT's Upshot has a good map of the numbers and a discussion of some of the limitations and challenges in doing such counts. [US Treasury] [NYT]

I have a theater group known as "Magical Stage Acting Troupe". We will be performing the Romantic Comedy called "SYLVIA" at the MADISON THEATER on September 23 and 24 - 7pm and September 25 - 1pm matinee. This is a delightful and heartwarming story about a husband and wife who's children have left home and they moved to NYC from the suburbs. A dog named "Sylvia" appeared In the park one day when "Greg", the husband was sitting. She becomes a part of their lives, but there are crazy and hilarious antics surrounding this "three some" as "SYLVIA" speaks and communicates as a "human", yet her actions are very dog-like! Come join use for this funny comedy!!! Laughter is the best medicine! 50/50 Raffle proceeds go to Albany Humane Society.
