A segment on NPR's Morning Edition Friday looked at the present and future of the Erie Canal -- and the questions prompted by the cost of maintaing the waterway. Among the people in the story by Hansi Lo Wang: the co-founder of the Troy-based New York State Marine Highway Transportation Company (they operate tugboats). [NPR] (Thanks, everyone!)
