Haunted Albany storytelling tour

albany haunted history tour poster 2016There's a free "Haunted Albany" storytelling tour October 11 starting at Albany City Hall. It's free and open to public -- see the link above to register.

The tour will be led by Paul Nooney, who's led ghost tours of Albany and Troy for many years. Ahead of the tour, Maeve McEneny (another ace local history tour guide) will give a short talk about the many walking tours available downtown.

There's a reception with light refreshments in the city hall rotunda starting at 5 pm on Tuesday, October 11. The walking tour starts at 6 pm.

Capitol Hauntings
Across the street from city hall, the "Capitol Hauntings" tours are going on all this month at the state Capitol. And... they're almost totally full. (Hey, we said they fill up fast!) But if you're interested in going and don't have reservations, keep an eye on the NYS Capitol tours Twitter feed -- if cancelations open spots, they're often mentioned there (like this past Monday.)
