A psychologist testifying for the prosecution in the case of the an Iraq war veteran and former mixed martial arts fighter charged with beating a Schenectady police officer, dismissed the insanity defense being put forth by the defense on Tuesday, testifying that the defendant "does not suffer from any type of psychiatric disorder which would mitigate or excuse his blameworthiness at the time of the commission of this crime."[TU]
