Capital Craft Beverage Trail tours

capital craft beverage trail logoThe Capital Craft Beverage Trail is working with The Giddy Up on a series of tours around the Capital Region. The first one is December 11. Here's itinerary blurbage:

We are kicking off the trail on Sunday December 11th, beginning at Nine Pin Cider Works where they will be offering $1 off all drafts. Then stock up on some Nine Pin Signature Cider cans and jump on the bus and head out to S&S Brewery in Nassau, who will be opening up that day just for us. Enjoy their Eternal Sunshine IPA or Udder Darkness Oatmeal Stout in their newly renovated tasting room. From there, the Giddy Up Bus will take you to Browns Brewing Company for happy hour pricing on draft beers and a light lunch which includes beer pretzels, speides and mac and cheese. We suggest you grab a 4 pack of their Burst IPA cans for the ride to our last destination, The Albany Distilling Company, for a private tour and tasting of their entire portfolio. Pick up and drop off for the bus will be in the City of Albany parking lot in Quackenbush Square.

You, like us, might not be too familiar with S&S Brewery -- it's a farm brewery located on an actual farm in Rensselaer County.

Tour tickets are $25 and available online.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

Albany tightened its rules for shoveling snowy sidewalks last winter -- so how'd that work out?
