The new NHL franchise in Las Vegas -- nickname the Golden Knights -- had its trademark request tripped up this week by the US Patent and Trademark Office because of... Saint Rose. Yep, the Saint Rose here in Albany -- whose sports teams also are nicknamed the Golden Knights (trademark registered since 2006) and the logo for which looks a lot like the one the NHL team recently debuted.
