Albany Food and Wine Fest Slider Slam credit T.R. Laz

Drawing's closed! Winner's been emailed!

The annual Wine and Dine for the Arts is January 12-14 this year in downtown Albany. And we have a pair of tickets to the festival's Slider Slam event to give away, courtesy of the Albany Barn.

To enter the drawing, please answer this question in the comments:

What's something local that you're looking forward to this year?

It could be something new that's opening. It could be the return of something. It could something in your personal life. It could be whatever. We'll draw one winner at random -- that person will get the tickets.

The Slider Slam is Friday, January 13 at 90 State starting at 8 pm. Multiple chefs will be competing to create the best, most creative sliders -- and winners will named by both a panel of judges and the crowd of attendees. It is a 21-and-over event.

General admission tickets are $50 each / VIP tickets, which include an open bar in a VIP lounge, are $75. They're available online.

Important: All comments must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Friday, January 6, 2017 to be entered in the drawing. You must answer the question to be part of the drawing. (Normal commenting guidelines apply.) One entry per person, please. You must enter a valid email address (that you check regularly) with your comment. The winner will be notified via email by noon Monday and must respond by noon on Tuesday, January 10.
