Albany snow emergency 2017-02-09

The city of Albany has declared a snow emergency starting Thursday, February 9 at 8 pm with EVEN side parking. It flips to ODD side parking for the 24 hours starting at 8 pm on Friday, February 10 (or until the emergency is canceled.) "If you are parked on the wrong side of the street during the snow emergency your car will be ticketed and may be towed."

I always look forward to these. It's so fun watching the cars get towed. :)

What's wrong with the City of Troy? The city streets and sidewalks are a mess and there's no parking anywhere. People can't park in the city garages without a permit during snowstorms and continue to ticket people if you don't move your car every two hours on the street in the business district. I had to get to work an hour early just to shovel out a parking spot only to have to run out again a half an hour a go to do it again.
