The last few (or more) years, a few yards on South Pine in Albany have had tapped maple trees in the late winter/early spring.
If you listen closely while walking by you can hear the drip-drip-drip of the sap.

Ah the classic milk jug strategy. Works well most of the time. Only down side is that on a good day you have to empty them earlier because their capacity is a lot less than the standard sap bucket.
