Shape shifting

A different spin on the "Kirsten Gillibrand's rising profile, presidential candidate 2020?" piece: An article in the socialist outlet Jacobin arguing KG has "less laudable aspects of her political career" and is "a suspect tribune for anti-Trump resistance." I guess this giant softball has been sitting here long enough. Let's draw out those establishment apologists. KG has been groomed to be a national political figure because it's her birthright. Don't you remember we live in a nation based on political power emanating from relationships not the will or consent of the governed. Of course true champions of the people have to learn the art of politics from the feet of staunch law and order corporatist. Being a practitioner of the law is best learned by tipping the scales of justice toward monied interests not protecting people from them. You establish your governance credentials by being for something before your against it. And do you think that Sweeney phone call was just good political fortune? Any way that's probably enough from the purists. To the powers that be who police these comment sections please don't take it personally. Just one guys ideas about our current political landscape.
