Stockade Scavenger Hunt
The Stockade is one of the Capital Region's oldest neighborhoods. And this sounds like a fun way to explore it...
The Schenectady County Historical Association has its second annual Stockade Scavenger Hunt coming Saturday, June 17. Blurbage:
Whether you're a lifelong resident of Schenectady, or just looking to explore, this scavenger hunt is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the 300+ years of history in Schenectady's Stockade Historic District. The Stockade neighborhood is jam packed with history and participants will follow clues to learn more about the founding of Schenectady, and other topics. No worries if you joined us last year, we will have all new clues for this year's scavenger hunt.
It's free to participate, but SCHS asks that you pre-register (details at that link). And you'll need a camera snap what you find.
Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
