Grizzly Bear at BSP Kingston

A little farther afield, but might be of interest: The band Grizzly Bear is playing two shows at BSP in Kingston August 15 and 16. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, June 29 (though it looks like they're available online now) -- they're $40.

The indie rock band has a new album coming out August 18. And the tour for the album is headed to a bunch of big cities in Europe and the US this fall. But first: a show in Portland, Maine and two shows in Kingston as a warm-up.

Checking old listings, it looks like the last time Grizzly Bear made a stop around here was a Skidmore show in 2009.

BSP is in an old-school movie house turned performance venue in Kingston, just about an hour's drive from Albany.
