125 pounds of rainbow sprinkles a week

This Hudson Valley Magazine feature on old-school ice cream stands is fun because 1) you get to gawk at the retro signage and buildings and 2) it's about ice cream. (Kurver Kreme get's a mention, including some backstory on the owner and her family.) [HV Mag]

Kurver has a nice sign but the worst soft serve in the area. To see that this listicle describes it as 'some of the best soft ice cream you’ve ever tasted' is offending both to me and all the ice cream I've ever tasted.
