The Troy Music Hall recently announced a handful of upcoming concerts that are a little bit different...

November 10: Puddles Pity Party
The "sad clown with the golden voice." See his mashup of "Folsom Prison Blues" and "Pinball Wizard," (which has gotten 1.6 million views on Youtube) and his cover of "I Want You To Want Me." Because why not. He's also. performed with Modern Jukebox. Tickets are on sale now -- they're $29.50 and up.

November 15: Sō Percussion
A modern percussion ensemble that plays works from 20th century composers such as John Cage along with new works. Here's an NPR Tiny Desk concert they played. Tickets go on sale to the general public August 28 -- they're $29 and up.

February 15: Time For Three
A string trio -- two violinists and a bassist -- that plays classical music and covers of modern pop. See their cover of "Shake It Off." Tickets go on sale to the general public August 28 -- they're $34.
