Night of the Living Dead + live score at Proctors

Proctors is hosting a screening of George Romero's Night of the Living Dead this Friday with a live score performed by the Andrew Alden Ensemble. Blurbage:

The Andrew Alden Ensemble have enthralled Proctors audiences in the past with their performances of original live scores for THE LOST WORLD and HAXAN: WITCHCRAFT THROUGH THE AGES, and now they've embraced another acknowledged masterpIece, director Romero's incredible - and incredibly influential - NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Screened with subtitles, please join us as we invite the ensemble's unsettling score to sink its teeth wholly into our eager hearts.

That clip embedded above is sample of the screening + score performance. As the blurb alludes to, the Andrew Alden Ensemble specializes in performing these sorts of scores.

The show is Friday, October 27 at 7 pm in the GE Theater. Tickets are $15 / $10 for students with ID.
