"Old Hudson grit in a good way"
Over at the New York Times there's an article looking at the backstory, and possible future, of the old fishing shacks along the river in the city of Hudson -- maybe you've seen them while riding the train. The roots of the shacks stretch back to the 1880s and are connected to the once thriving fishery along the Hudson. Now historians and city officials are trying to figure out how they might be preserved in some way. [NYT] (Thanks, grandmastergus)
