For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

Which relates to the complaints heard about free events around here. First, is that favorite band or artist of yours on tour? Near here? No? Then don't complain they're not playing that free event. Oh look, it's not free - I applaud the entities that have to program a series of music entertainment on ever shrinking budgets, to rely more on (shrinking) sponsorships.
