"The potholes could be shallower."
You've probably heard of Svante Myrick, the mayor of Ithaca -- and one of the youngest mayors in the country. He's only 30 years old and has already served almost six years in office. The Ithaca Journal has an interesting Q&A with him about what's he learned in office, some of the problems facing Upstate, affordable housing, getting large non-profit institutions to chip in, and potholes (literal and metaphorical). A lot of the issues will sound very similar to things going on here. [Ithaca Journal] (via @HRViccaro)
