The butterfly house.

It's adult night at miSci March 31 with an event called "AFTER DARK: Butterflies & Brews." Blurbage:

The AFTER DARK series is a social event for adults 21+ featuring full museum access, alcoholic beverages, board games, planetarium shows, and exciting science demonstrations. A chance for adults 21 years or older can come enjoy the museum during an evening event without kids. And all money raised will go towards providing the best informal STEM education to Capital Region children and their families!
Escape winter's chill in our popular indoor butterfly house, and learn all about brilliantly colored native butterflies such as Monarchs, Black Swallowtails, Buckeyes, Painted Ladies, Tiger Swallowtails and Spicebush Swallowtails. Don't miss the chrysalis chamber which offers visitors the chance to learn about the exciting life cycles of butterflies.

There will be samples from Albany Distilling, Artisanal Brew Works, C.H. Evans, Mad Jack, Shmaltz, Rare Form, Yesfolk Tonics, and others. Also, Given to Fry will be there selling food.

The After Dark event is Saturday, March 31 from 5:30-9:30 pm. Admission is the regular museum admission, $10.50. Planetarium shows are an extra $5.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
