Midday music break: The Sea The Sea
Something to listen to -- and watch -- today (or whenever): "Bang Bang Bang" by The Sea The Sea.
The song is off the Troy-based duo/band's upcoming album, From The Light, which will be out in June.
And about that comics-inspired video... they tell Pop Matters: "Our own Cara May Gorman (vocals, synth) hand drew all of the retro-comic book-inspired images, and our own Steve Struss (drums) digitized and co-colorized them. Then we handed it all over to fellow Troy, New York pals and collaborators, Chromoscope Pictures, to work their magic and bring it to life."
(By the way: It's worth heading over to Chromoscope's site to watch some of their work with a bunch of different acts.)
The Sea The Sea is set to play Tulip Fest in May, and a show at The Hollow June 1.

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
