Barberville
The Barberville Falls in Rensselaer County are beautiful. They've also drawn crowds whose behavior has irked the people who live near the falls, resulting in the site being closed during the summer. The Nature Conservancy owns the land, but it's now trying to transfer ownership to the town of Poestenkill -- a move that neighbors of the falls are trying to block. [TU] (link now fixed)

What does the ex sheriff of a Wisconsin county have to do with a waterfall in Poestenkill? I'm confused!
