"Just play soccer and be happy"
We are ready to unfurl the virtual tifo for this Massarah Mikati story about the youth soccer team connected to RISSE, the org that assists refugees in Albany, and how it's helping kids adjust to lives here in the US. (The team's coach talked with AOA last year about his work with RISSE, specifically the soccer team. As he told us then: "These kids are all from different countries and most of these kids, where they are coming from they don't have the same sports as here -- basketball, football. But they all have soccer.") [TU]
Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
