Buckingham Pond heron 2018-06-05

Always a happy surprise to see that a (the?) heron has dropped in at Buckingham Pond for the day. Probably to co-work or something. (The bossy red-winged blackbird wasn't thrilled.)

Thank you for mentioning that blackbird. I was convinced it was following me on my walks to harass me and was pretty sure I was losing my mind. I guess I am not alone.
