The lady in the window
We were walking by the Church of the Holy Innocents on Friday when this figure in the boarded-up window of one of the buildings behind the old church caught our eye. The expression on her face is like she's trying to not let you know how she really feels.
By the way: AOA has an Instagram account, where we post this sort of stuff.

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

You know if I ever hit the lottery, restoring this church would be job one.
Literally a crime that Hope House bought it and neglected it for the last 30 years. Architecturally significant by an important architect, historic stained glass windows, and now it is collapsing. (like St. John's in the south end) ugh

The church has a very sad history:

It's such a shame to see it sitting there rotting.
