Bike paths from above
Here's a bonus bit from yesterday's post about the Capital District Trails Plan: The team behind the project to map out an alternative transportation network for the area gathered some beautiful drone video to go along with the report. It's embedded above.
The video covers a handful of spots around the Capital Region, but the shots of the Livingston Ave Bridge and the course of the potential Patroon Greenway caught our eye.
(The video's about 12 minutes long. Pro tip for this video and others like it: Switch the the speed to 2x (click the gear on the Youtube controls). It's less chill, but you can cover the ground faster.)
