Anarchists in the townhome
Over at the Times Union, Lynda Edwards* profiles a group of freegan anarchists who have been squatting in a vacant Albany townhome without utilities for years, apparently without any official or agency noticing: "Survivalists don't want to be around people. Anarchists are social; we love our neighbors." [TU] (*Corrected. Sorry about that.)

Interesting article and even more interesting lifestyle. I feel bad for these kids lost in this world....hopefully they can find solace in their anarchy and their friends and lifestyle. It is not what I would want for myself nor my child but as long as nobody is getting hurt then I encourage them to follow their dreams and their conscience. I wish them luck for long and happy lives.
