Here's an interesting Politico feature about how a group of citizen transit nerds formed an advocacy group and have helped bring a bunch of new ideas to the Boston public transportation system. One of the founders is a 2009 RPI grad, and he started with a blog and a I'll-just-do-it-myself campaign to re-design bad signage. [Politico] [via @albanyjen]
