Despite the flak it may generate, I'm still a fan of the gondola as a creative yet simple solution to accessing Amtrak from downtown Albany and connecting these two small cities. Main purpose is for the out of town business traveler, not the "locals". It would be smart to move the Bus Stations to the Amtrak site. multiple positives: Albany has better uses for the Bus Station properties, Renss would benefit from the relocation/increased # of visitors, Amtrak riders would have direct access to adjoining communities via the intercity buses and the Region would enjoy a transit center.
