What's kickin' in the Neighborhood

The NeighborhoodAmong the topics in this most recent stroll through the Capital Region's online neighborhood: hostile Wal-Mart shoppers, good times in Troy, post-prom potpourri, and something where it shouldn't be.

Kristi G had quite the experience in the express line at The World's Largest Wal-Mart. We're just glad she made it out alive. And hopefully her mulch was OK, too. (Earlier on AOA: The biggest Wal-Mart EVER... is in Albany?)

Rob Madeo and his son had a good time listening to a band play on the sidewalk in Troy. It sounds like the band was having an even better time.

After a ride in the parking garage elevator at the Crowne Plaza, Susan Arbetter was able to name a "Smell of the Week."

And CDFI has spotted an inappropriately discarded object.

There's a lot more going on around the neighborhood, check it out. If you know of a great blog or site we should include, post a comment or send us an email: editors |at| alloveralbany |dot| com.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

Albany tightened its rules for shoveling snowy sidewalks last winter -- so how'd that work out?
