Stuff to do this weekend
Had enough of the week? Guess what? It's the weekend. Sure it's a little soggy, but there's still plenty of fun to be had. Here's what we're thinking...
Fear and Loathing in Albany
You only have one week to catch "Gonzo," director Alex Gibney's documentary about gonzo journalism creator and American icon Hunter S. Thomposon. Johnny Depp narrates. It opens tonight at The Spectrum.
Alliteration at SPAC
The Philadelphia Orchestra pays tribute to Bartok, Beethoven and Brahms tonight at SPAC. But bring a tarp if you plan to sit on the lawn.
Ahhhh, romance
Bring someone you love, or your BFF to The Adelphi for drinks. Sip a daiquiri with fresh fruit and an edible flower and drink in the atmosphere. Just hit the ATM first.
Retro Revolution
You've heard them in The Devil Wears Prada, Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives. Tonight you can hear the retro swank of Bitter:Sweet at Revolution Hall. A-Town and NYC based Margan and the Red Lions are opening $12
Saturday Night Sirsy comes to Revolution Hall -- $5 in advance, $10 day of show.
Eat ice cream!
When is this not a good idea? What kind of ice cream? Decisions, decisions.
In case of rain
The Albany Art Room has lots of great stuff to play with.
So? What's your plan?

The Bitter:Sweet concert was pretty good, too bad so few people showed up :( Next time they are in town, I suggest cheering them up :)
Some pics I shot during that show:
