Roller derby results

The Hellions of Troy lost to the Ithaca Suffer Jets 115-96 this past weekend in their first bout. B has pictures up on Flickr. The Hellions are next back on the track in December. And the Albany All-Stars take on the Ottawa Roller Derby November 15. (Earlier: The big local roller derby bust up)

Sorry for the picture quality, as Sebastien is quick to point out, flash can be a fickle mistress. It was a fun bout, the fans definitely had a great time, and everyone looked like they were having fun.

It was an exciting, nailbiter of a bout this weekend. We did really well for only being a league for a couple of weeks. I am so proud to be a Hellion. I hope some of you will come to our open recruitment at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at the Armory. The promise of roller derby is alive and well in the Capital Region and we want as many people as possible to be a part of it!

Thanks to B and Co for coming out and showing some pretty vocal support! Thanks also for the pix :)
xoxo,
~Flexi

The Scoop
