Scientists! Severe! Red Lions!

We are Scientists

They are not actually scientists. Well, she could be.

Valentine's has a great show lined up for Friday night.

The night's headlined by We Are Scientists. When we first heard the NYC-based duo a few years back, we thought they were going hit it big. They played rock with a little bit of wink. They were cute and funny for Summer and still cool enough for Seth (hey, this was back when The OC was still on).

Well, they have ended up doing pretty well, but in that "you know, they're big in the UK" kind of way. The upside (for us, if not necessarily them): you can still see them in a club the size of Valentine's.

Two great local bands are opening. Severe Severe and Margan and the Red Lions.

That's quite a show for $12 ($14 at the door). Show starts at 8 pm.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
