As hot as the chick on the label?

Albany's iconic burrito bar is now selling its salsa retail-style.

A recent trip to the Honest Weight Food Co-op turned up a jar of Bombers' salsa. (Yep, we had no idea either.) They sell the hot sauce, too -- but we were all about the salsa.

So, how is it?

At $4.99 a jar, it seemed a little steep, but it was worth a shot. Also, the label is very cool
as it features Bombers' hot-chick-on-a-bomb logo.

And the taste? Well... it's okay. Honestly, it's a little sweeter than I'd normally like a salsa to be. When eating tortilla chips, I like a bit more of a spicy kick. But I bet it'd be really good on tacos with plenty of guacamole and sour cream.

Earlier on AOA: A pumpkin pie martini? Oh, yes.
