After yanking Larry King around earlier this week about who'll replace Hillary in the Senate, David Paterson teased Andrea Mitchell today: "We should take a woman, and I need someone who has a presence here. So I'm going to go with Michelle Obama."

Well, unlike Carolyn Kennedy, Michelle Obama's actually held a job or two in her life that wasn't essentially a coronation based on family name. Kinda sad when you're left thinking in those terms, eh?
