Zombies, killer clowns or serial killers?

How would you rather be freaked out? The It Came From Schenectady folks are planning another big film fest at Proctor's. The horror fest is scheduled for Halloween. The slate includes Nosferatu, Yoroi Samurai Zombie, and Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl. But it's not full yet, and they want your input. Vote for the movie that scares the bejesus out of you here.

I first saw Romero's original "Night of the Living Dead" and, man, did it creep me out. It's still my favorite horror movie (an zombies still give me the willies).

I heard about Black Sheep a year or so ago and it's supposed to be horribly awesome and funny and gross. Vote for it! I want to see it on a big screen!

I voted for An American Werewolf in London, the Shining and Black Sheep.

WAMC's Linda Norris Auditoriumis also doing a Zombie Film Feast...Oct 23-25

"The living dead are returning once again to The Linda with this year’s Zombie Film Feast II. The three-day gory gig will include over ten film screenings, a zombie walk, zombie prom, and, of course, the annual brain-eating contest."

A zombie prom! Awesome!!

I voted for AMERICAN WEREWOLF as well. Is there a better horror comedy film? Both scary and funny? BLACK SHEEP is a good second... but more gross/funny than scary funny.

No BUBBA HO-TEP ??!?

Now that's just a damn shame.

Woo! THE BEYOND would be awesome! That would get me to buy a ticket!!! For a horror mix with comedy, I'd go for AMERICAN WEREWOLF or maybe RE-ANIMATOR. Both great, and the later is rarer, so I tilt that way. Jeffrey Combs is terrific! 3rd choice is tuffer. Maybe WICKER MAN. I also hear that GRACE is fantastic. Maybe even better than INSIDE, which was pretty terrifiying (hey, why isn't it on the list?). No complaints though. Can't even believe they are going to show the original TALES FROM THE CRYPT and WHO CAN KILL A CHILD?
