Word spread today that state funding for the New York State Theater Institute in Troy will run out next week. And additional funding is not in the next state budget extender. Of course, all this follows the allegations of nepotism and improper spending by NYSTI's founding producing director, who has since retired. Update It sounds like there may be a reprieve. For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
