We're not growing up, and you can't make us.

The letter L. As in Lunch.

And all the great people who participated in our first Lunch Week.

And of course, our delicious AOA advertisers. Below is a list of what they've got cooking this week:

Oh and don't forget -- you can advertise to the AOA crowd too. Here's how.

Food and Drink

+New World Bistro Bar launched their new summer dinner menu this week. Lots of local produce and fresh, sustainable seafood throughout the menu this season. New items include: Sweet Chile Fried Tofu on watermelon-peanut salad, Ric's Best Summer Seafood Bowl-- a steaming bowl of shrimp, crab, clams, mussels, squid and daily catch, with roasted corn in a light tomato stew and finished with roasted poblano-sunflower pesto. And back by popular demand, Simple Summer Pasta: imported penne tossed with chunky filetto di pomodoro, a splash of cream and daily summer veggies, topped with asiago and basil. Additions to the wine and cocktail list include a Lemon-Basil Mojito, Hibiscus Margarita (tequila, hibiscus flower and cranberry juices), Italian Greyhound (grapefruit vodka, grapefruit juice, soda, campari and a sprig of fresh rosemary). Ummm... YUM!

+ Free Bilinski's! Yep we said free. The folks from Bilinski's and Sunmark Federal Credit Union are teaming up for a Troy Night Out BBQ on Friday June 25th. Stop by and grab some delicious chicken sausages, hot off the grill. If you want some for your own barbecue, be sure and use this exclusive AOA coupon to pick some up at Price Chopper.

+The Wine Bar and Bistro on Lark. is celebrating the summer solstice (June 21st) with 25% off any bottle of Chardonnay or Rose. Spend the longest night of the year relaxing under the wisteria on the patio.

+ Honest Weight Food Co-op is a great place to get what you need to start your garden... and pick up some healthy, delicious snacks to enjoy in it.

+ The coffee house is open at The Midtown Tap and Tea Room. Grab a cup of coffee and hang out on the patio at The Midtown Tap and Tearoom. The coffee house is open every Tuesday though Saturday until 2.

Stuff to do

Visit The Albany Institute of History and Art for free on Fridays this summer -- or buy one ticket and get another one free any Saturday throughout the summer.

+Next week you could win two day passes to Jazz Festival weeked at SPAC. Catch Al Jarreau, Taj Mahal, Al Di Meola , Ramsey Lewis and more, June 26 and 27.

+ Construction is underway on the new downtown condos at 17 Chapel . The city has just announced a big tax incentive for these downtown spaces. Check out the details on AOA, WTEN, WNYT, YNN or the TU. Then head to 17chapel.com.

More good stuff

+ Sunmark Federal Credit Union is a proud sponsor of next weekend's Troy Night Out. Stop by their big barbecue with Bilinski's at TNO next Friday.

+Catch up with all the week's NYS political news with Susan Arbetter on The Capitol Pressroom.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
