Pucker up

The Post-Star's Blake Jones has some backstory on Pucker's Gourmet, a small startup in Greenwich that makes pickles, sauerkraut and kimchi. Pucker's products are available at the Troy Waterfront Farmers' Market. (Thanks, Renée!) Earlier: Seth and his sauerkraut

I have bought both their pickles and sauerkraut, and they are amazing. I can't say enough about the sauerkraut. I love to eat it raw, right out of the jar! It is so crunchy and tasty, and has a nice bite to it. It's just a totally different experience than buying normal jarred sauerkraut (although I haven't had Seth's, and now I want to try that too).

I have purchased their pickles TWICE now. He sells out every week. I like to consider myself a pick connoisseur and well these have to be some of the most amazing pickles I have ever had. The full sour and the hobinaro are amazing. I cant wait for the kimchi.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
