All Good Bakers Britin and Nick Foster at their new Delaware Avenue location

All Good Bakers is ensconced in its new DelSo home and ready to open its doors.

Nick and Britin Foster and their team will start serving up breads, soups, salads, sandwiches and other goodies starting this Wednesday morning at 8 am.

Here's a peek inside the new place...

The new shop is at 540 Delaware Avenue, right next door to The Yoga Loft.

The sign is scheduled to go up today.

The AGB team is working in a much bigger kitchen space than they had at the old Quail Street place. Britin says they're sharing the space and are still open to folks who'd like to use it at night.

Organica on Delaware Ave. supplied this hydroponic garden where Britin is growing lettuces and herbs for their products.

The menu is similar, but larger. They'll be offering a few extra salads, soups, and sandwiches -- and they're adding the DelSo Cookie to their menu.

And yes, the giant slice of toast is still there.

They're also making homemade fruit waters and will soon be sharing the kitchen with a seitan maker.

To start, they'll be open Wednesday through Friday from 8 am to 3 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm. And bring cash or your checkbook. They don't accept credit cards.

Congratulations to the hardest working, finest bread bakers in Albany!!!!!

Congratulations again! I can't wait to stop in for lunch. :)

Congratulations, guys!

Love this place - love these people - way to go!

I believe that would be "Phinest" bread bakers, Joseph ;)

Congratulations from Capital District Community Gardens. We love you guys!

Thank you so much for coming by today Mary at AOA! And to everyone for your very kind comments. We have three new staff members, Lauren as Nick's Sous Chef, Liz for front of the house and Dave as our intern. We are very excited to be opening in the DelSo neighborhood!! Have to be up at 4am...probably time for bed now. We are looking forward to seeing all of our regular customers and you "nOOb's" this week (and hopefully beyond)!

@Knickerbaker, Nick will get a kick to hear of your "Rephinement"!

Congrats to Albany's coolest baking duo from FarmieMarket!! I am so happy for you guys!

Looks amazing! Is the entire menu vegetarian?

Where did this "DelSo" thing come from? Does that mean Delaware Ave South? I'm confused to see this neighborhood alphabet soup trend move up the Thurway from NYC to Albany.

Yes, DELSO (all caps please) stands for Delaware South. Don't be so surprised to see that this neighborhood "alphabet soup trend" move up the Thruway to little old Albany. We're hip, community minded, neighborly types that really dig our little part of the world. Come visit and you'll see why. We have cookies! :)

So sad to see AGB leave the Pine Hills Neighborhood :-( I wish them the best of luck in the new digs, but they will be missed on Sunday mornings... I guess we'll have to walk to a new bakery!

"the alphabet soup trend" -- I guess I live on NewScotSo.

NeSco has a ring to it.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
