Cool off

Albany's Lincoln Park pool will open tomorrow (June 21st) at 3PM (a day early) because of the heat wave. The city is also working on opening spray pads in the parks today. The beach at Grafton Lakes State Park, which is normally closed on Wednesday and Thursday, will be open today and tomorrow from 11-5 because of the weather. Hmm... we feel a day off coming on.

I've lived next to drop-outs, and I've seen firsthand the lack of parenting that sends the signal, passed from generation to generation. No magical teacher or administrator is going to reach down and counter that effect.
