Lineup for Pearl Palooza 2012

This year's Pearl Palooza -- the music festival in downtown Albany hosted by WEQX -- is September 22. EQX announced today that the headliner is the indie pop duo Matt and Kim (that's them on the right).

The full lineup -- which covers two stages -- is post jump (with clips).

Pearl Palooza runs from noon to 9 pm that day (a Saturday). The festival is on Pearl Street between Sheridan and Pine. It's free.

Phantogram - 5:30 pm

Robert Delong - 3:45 pm

Oberhofer - 2:15 pm

The Royal Concept - 12:45 pm

I still don't know why it has to look like a spaceship. There are countless downtown theaters that fit in aesthetically with their surroundings. I was just in Arlington, Massachusetts and they have a six screen theater in a building fronted with a bakery, a toy store, a salon...
