Clubs that are 18+?

disco ball club lightsChris emails:

When looking for events and things to do in downtown Albany, its been hard to if there are any nightclubs that are 18+ instead of 21+. being a college student and new to the region, I was wondering if you guys knew of any 18+ clubs in downtown albany?

We suspect there might not be a lot of options. But maybe you have a good suggestion for Chris -- even if it's not downtown Albany. If so, please share!

To answer your question- Fuze Box on Central is a great option for a club that's 18+, they have 80s nights there on Saturdays which are really fun, and I find that there's a good mix of ages there too, I'd say from 18-29.

I feel that when people don't confront inappropriate behavior it sends a signal that it is tolerated. I often speak up in situations like these, depending on my reading of the situation. If we consider ourselves part of a community we all have a role to play in signaling what is and isn't appropriate behavior.
