Golden Organics at The Cheese Traveler

golden organics ice cream at cheese travelerIt was a pleasant surprise this week to see that The Cheese Traveler in Albany is carrying ice cream from Golden Organics, a Columbia County-based company that makes ice cream from grassfed milk. We first tasted their ice cream a few years back at their former storefront in Chatham -- and it was very good. Earlier: 5 reasons Golden Organics may be the best ice cream in the Capital Region

MassMoca has always been a huge hit with the assorted nieces and nephews I've hosted. You can combine it with a lunch at one of the places over there, too. Cooperstown is also a fun day trip. Whether or not she's into baseball doesn't matter, the town is charming and the Farmer's Museum is worth a visit.
