Over at GigaOM, James Hendler -- the head of RPI's computer science department -- talks about some of the ways the school is hoping to use its version of IBM's Watson. The plans range from academic applications (better understanding of artificial intelligence) to more practical applications -- like being able to answer questions such as "What government agency can help me find a job in New York?"
