Details about Tierra takeover of Madison Theatre

The TU's Chris Churchill has a few more details on the plan by Tierra Coffee Roasters to take over the Madison Theatre in Albany and renovate it. Word of the plan has been trickling out since earlier this week, when the Knick Ledger mentioned it. (We stopped in this week and asked what was up -- apparently more details are on the way soon.) Tierra bought the the Ultraviolet Cafe on Delaware at the beginning of this year (it's like the inverse of this new purchase), and it's connected to the Tierra Farm nut/coffee company in Columbia County.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
