Plans have surfaced for one of the projects vying to grab one of the Catskill region casinos. The $750 million project -- called Adelaar -- would be located in Monticello, in Sullivan County. And, as seems to be case with recent trends in casinos, the project would also include a bunch other amenities and attractions: more than 1,000 hotel rooms, an indoor water park, a golf course, and entertainment venues. Good stuff! I would kill for a local indoor water park! And people in the capital district are opposed to casinos why???
