Late to the party

A NYT article Sunday pulls together many of the threads related to New York's impending casino site selections and what appears to be a gambling glut around the country. Said a gambling industry analyst to NYT of Andrew Cuomo's plan for upstate casinos: "He's 15 years too late to the party." [NYT] Earlier: A map of casinos in states surrounding New York

NYT is a little late to the party, too. This is, I think, the third article AOA has posted on this very subject.

I can picture it now.... a huge casino grand opening and the only cars in the mega parking lots belong to the employees. Cue the crickets.
