Habitat for Humanity Capital District exec director Mike Jacobson announced today that he's stepping down from the position. Jacobson's five years at the org have seen it evolve into something more like a real estate developer -- the big (and interesting) project in Sheridan Hollow, in which Habitat and partner orgs are constructing almost 100 new units, is a primary example. The org's new exec director will be Christine Schudde, its current director of development.
For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
