Fairs and farmers' markets and baseball and road trips and hikes and swimming pools -- or just sitting on a porch and doing nothing outdoors. We've got a few weekends of summer left, folks -- let's make the most of them.

If you don't have plans for this weekend yet, you'll find a few ideas after the jump.

Altamont Fair
Friday-Sunday: The Altamont Fair continues at the fairgrounds in (you guessed it) Altamont. The fair is the county fair for Albany, Schenectady, and Greene counties. Admission is $17 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The one-price ticket includes "admission, parking, shows, concerts, Circus Hollywood and unlimited rides" Kids under 36-inches tall are free -- but they're not allowed to ride the Midway rides.

The Track
Friday-Sunday: Another weekend of racing is ahead at Saratoga Race Course.

Philadelphia Orchestra
Friday/Saturday: The Philadelphia Orchestra continues its annual residency at SPAC. Friday is a "Winter Tales" program. And Saturday's program features cellist Johnnes Moser. (The orchestra will be at SPAC through August 22.)

Baseball
Friday: The ValleyCats are at The Joe finishing up a three-game series against Auburn. Also, Friday is "Early Oktoberfest." Friday 7 pm

Stage

WTF
The Williamstown Theatre Festival continues its production of Moon for the Misbegotten, starring Audra McDonald and Will Swenson/ Also playing at WTF this weekend: An Intervention, which has two separate casts.

Pajama Game
Friday-Sunday: The Park Playhouse in Albany continues its August production, The Pajama Game. It runs through August 22. Tuesday-Sunday 7:30 pm - lawn seating is free / reserved seats are $16 and $18

Berkshire Theater Festival
The Berkshire Theater Festival presents productions of Terrance McNally's Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune (directed by Karen Allen), and the world premiere of the "funny and poignant new drama" I Saw My Neighbor on the A Train, and I Didn't Even Smile.

The Producers
Friday-Sunday: The Mac-Haydn Theater in Chatham presents The Producers.various times - $31-$34, $14 for kids under 12.

Rent
Friday-Sunday: The Local Actors Guild of Saratoga presentations of Jonathan Larson's Rent are SOLD OUT. To get on the wait list you can call the box office at 518-393-3496. The show is in the Dee Sarno Theater at the Saratoga Arts Council Building. Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 2pm - $20

Robin Hood and the King's Ransom
Friday-Sunday: Ten Broeck Mansion hosts a Confetti Stage production of Robin Hood and the King's Ransom in the gardens at Ten Broeck. Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm, Sunday at 2pm - $15 / $8 for children & students.

Shakespeare in Lincoln Park
Friday-Sunday: Steamer 10 presents a production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream in Albany's Lincoln Park. Friday and Saturday at 7pm, Sunday at 3pm - free

The Saturday Morning Cereal & All-You-Can-Eat Cartoon Party
Saturday: It Came From Schenectady presents Saturday Morning Cereal & All-You-Can-Eat Cartoon Party at Proctors -- a sugar cereal-fueled morning filled with a mix of nostalgic Saturday morning cartoon classics. "This is memory lane re-imagined with superheroes, muscle men and all sorts of crazy critters." Like all It Came From Schenectady there will be comfy couches, prizes and surprises.
Saturday 10 am to 1 pm-- $9 / $6 for students and kids.

Aziz Ansari
Friday: The surprise Aziz Ansari shows at The Comedy Works in Albany are sold out.

Round Lake Comedy Festival
Friday/Saturday: The Round Lake Comedy Festival is a two-night comedy fest in the village of Round Lake. Acts include local favorites such as Ethan Ullmann and Mikel Gregg, along with headliners from the national scene such as Tim Wright and Dee Watson.Friday and Saturday at 7pm - $15 per night / $25 for both nights.

Fourth Man Out
Saturday: Fourth Man Out, an indie comedy filmed in and around Albany last summer, will be screened at The Linda. Saturday 7 pm - $8

Pinball wizard
The Who's Tommy -- a musical film based on The Who's 1969 rock opera -- is playing at The Madison this weekend.

Rosemary's Baby
Friday-Sunday: The Bow Tie in Saratoga Springs is screening the 60s psychological horror Rosemary's Baby as the Friday and Saturday's late night Insomnia Theater and the Saturday and Sunday Movies and Mimosa film.

Devastation To Restoration - Open House
Saturday: The Saratoga Preservation Foundation is hosting a tour of the historic Saratoga Springs row houses that burned in 2013 and have been restored as luxury apartments. The event includes a talk by James Kettlewell and the owner of the houses, Bob Israel. Saturday 10 am to 4 pm - $30, includes light refreshments (space is limited)

Saratoga Polo
Friday/Sunday: The Saratoga Polo season continues with matches at Whitney Field, just outside of Saratoga Springs. Friday and Sunday, matches begin at 5:30 pm - $15 and up

Municipal pools continue their season this weekend. Here's a list.

Beach
The beaches at Moreau Lake State Park and Grafton Lakes State Park continue their season. Or you could try the beach at Cherry Plain State Park.

Museums

MASS MoCA
MASS MoCA is exhibiting the large scale landscape paintings of Clifford Ross:

In this major mid-career museum survey, Landscape Seen & Imagined documents Clifford Ross's longstanding project to reconcile realism and abstraction. The exhibition takes place throughout two buildings, six galleries, and an exterior performing arts courtyard. Among other works, the exhibition includes a 24' high x 114' long photograph on raw wood that spans the length of MASS MoCA's tallest gallery and an immersive installation of animated video on twelve separate 24' high screens
.

The exhibit is open through September 7.

The Late Drawings of Andy Warhol
The Hyde Collection continues its exhibit featuring some of Andy Warhol's drawings created between 1973 to 1987, one of Warhol's most prolific periods. Many of the drawings are on view to the public for the first time. (On display through through September 27.)

Van Gogh and Whistler
The Clark's very popular exhibit of Van Gogh nature paintings continues. The exhibit runs through September 13.

Also at The Clark: Whistler's Mother: Grey, Black, and White. "The painting serves as the centerpiece of the exhibition Whistler's Mother: Grey, Black, and White, which also features a selection of Whistler's prints and drawings, Japanese woodblock prints that inspired the artist, and ephemera that explore the image's role in popular culture." It's on display through September 27.

Troy Flea
Sunday: Troy Flea has a craft market every Sunday through October 4 in Riverfront Park. Sunday 11 am to 4 pm - free admission

Blueberries
Blueberry season is wrapping up soon, so get them while you still can. Here are a handful of places around the region where you can pick your own. (Be sure to call ahead or check the farms' websites for conditions before heading out.)

Farmers' markets
It's one of the best times of year to visit the farmers' markets:
+ The Troy Waterfront Farmers Market will be on River Street Saturday from 9 am-2 pm.
+ The Saratoga Farmers' Market will be in High Rock Park. Saturday from 9 am-1 pm
+ The Delmar Farmers Market is open for the season at Bethlehem Central Middle School. Saturday 9 am-1 pm
+ The Colonie Farmers Market is at the Crossings. Saturday from 9 am-1 pm
+ The Schenectady Greenmarket will be around Schenectady City Hall. Sunday from 10 am-2 pm.
+ The Spa City Farmers' Market will be outside the Lincoln Baths Sunday from 10 am-3 pm

The 12th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival at the Mabee Farm Historic Site is this Saturday, 8/15/15, from 10-4pm. Admission is $5, students and kids are free. This year there will be over 45 vendors!
