Here's a quick scan of results from local elections around the Capital Region Tuesday.

This is not a comprehensive list, just some highlights. Numbers are unofficial, and some are bound to change as things settle.

On with the results...

Results are grouped by county. Incumbents are marked with an asterisk.

Albany County

A little more than 1,000 absentee ballots had issued for Albany city voters, so the outcome of the high school vote is to be determined. [TU]

Wow, 10 votes out of 10,000 on a topic that people obviously feel strongly on (evidenced by Monday's post). Your vote counts!

An acquaintance has predicted that those 1,000 absentee votes are senior citizens who have already left for warmer climes for the winter and most of them will have voted no on the school renovation. We'll see.
